General Information

Manzanillo is a modern tourist center of international level of the state of Colima in the Mexican Golden Pacific and port city, in which its maritime terminal receives national and foreign cruises. In Manzanillo you can enjoy wonderful landscapes, spectacular sunsets in its beautiful and cozy golden sand beaches which are formed by two large twin bays of Manzanillo and Santiago, the destination has a privileged climate and a quiet atmosphere.

In its downtown Manzanillo, you will notice that most of its buildings are painted white, perceiving peace and tranquility, you can enjoy concerts, contests in the main garden, you can enjoy various activities and attractions.

Its boardwalk Espiritu Santo was inaugurated in 1998, it was named after the Spanish ship led by Alvaro Saavedra Cerón that arrived for the first time to the bay of Manzanillo on July 24, 1527.

Attractions & Tours

In Manzanillo you can enjoy golf, in which there is a 27-hole golf course in Playa Navidad and is one of the two courses in Mexico with the Golf Medal Award distinction. Playa de Oro International Airport of Manzanillo. The distance between Manzanillo Airport (ZLO) and Manzanillo hotel zone is 23 km. Its airport has undergone several remodels due to its increasing number of passengers, has an area in terminal building of 4,700 sq. m., can accommodate 470 passengers per hour with 17 documentation counters for different airlines such as foreign ones; United Airlines, Alaska Airlines, West Jet and the domestic ones Aeromexico, Aeromar and others. Manzanillo, represents a perfect mixture of flavors, offers typical dishes and wide variety, among them because of its coastal origin is the Ceviche Colima style (prepared with lemon and orange juice, tomato, onion, carrot and black pepper), Michi soup, the Grilled sailfish, the Prawns with garlic sauce.
